24th July 2021 – (Hong Kong) It is usually difficult to win the first prize of the Mark Six lottery. Anyone who can win the second or third prize should be able to win more than one million or hundreds of thousands of dollars. During the draw on 22nd July, there were several numbers appeared in a row. The winning numbers were 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 23 and the special number was 27. The total HK$8 million was shared among 3.5 bets. According to Hong Kong Jockey Club, 3.5 bets won the first prize and each HK$10 bet won HK$2,362,510. Only guaranteed winnings were distributed for 2nd and 3 prize winners. There were a total of 133,500 bets which won the first prize to the seventh prize, and the total payout was about HK$41 million, which exceeded the total betting amount. HKJC had to fork out an additional sum of HK$14 million.
According to the Jockey Club’s announcement, the lowest payout limit for 2nd and 3rd prizes was set at respectively HK$38,400 and HK$19,200. 635.3 bets won the 3rd prize and a total of more than HK$12 million was distributed. As many as 110,000 bets won the 7th prize. HK$40 was paid to each bet amounting to HK$4.42 million.
