Man arrested for allegedly planning burglary at Ko’s House in Yau Ma Tei

27th July 2021 – (Hong Kong) At about 5am today (27th), a security guard at Ko’s House, 577-577A Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei, witnessed a man holding a bag of belongings and wandering outside the building. He suspected something was amiss and called the police for help.

The police rushed to the scene and finally intercepted the man. Police found a pair of tongs in his bag. Since he could not explain the purpose of the use of the item. Police suspected that he was planning a burglary.

At the same time, the man failed to produce his identity document,.

The police arrested the man on suspicion of loitering and failure to produce his identity document.
