21st July 2021 – (Hong Kong) At 1.18am today, when a police officer patrolled the West Kowloon Highway towards Hong Kong Island, a man was found lying unconscious near the MTR Olympic Station, so he called an ambulance and requested reinforce.
When the paramedics arrived at the scene, it was confirmed that the man was dead. A jacket and a pair of leather shoes were left nearby, suspected to belong to the deceased.
The police officers then put on protective clothing and entered the grass to investigate. No suicide note was found at the scene. However, it was confirmed that the deceased was a missing man Chow (79 years old). The cause of death is yet to be determined by an autopsy. On the 13th of this month, the police appealed to the public to provide information about Chow saying that he disappeared after leaving his home on Hoi Ting Road in Mong Kok on the morning of the 12th of this month. His family reported the case to the police on the same day.
