19th July 2021 – (Hong Kong) At about 5pm this afternoon (19th), a woman surnamed Yip (25 years old) and her boyfriend took part in an indoor rock climbing activity at JUST CLIMB Rock Climbing gym, The Ulferts Warehouse Centre, 4 Kin Fat Lane, Tuen Mun. During the period, the woman fell down 3 metres to the ground. Although the rock climbing ground was padded with soft cushions, Yip’s elbow and knee were still injured and fractured.
Her boyfriend asked the staff for help and called the police. The paramedics were called to the scene to conduct inspections and preliminary care for Yip. She was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
