29th July 2021 – (Hong Kong) At 2.39pm this afternoon (29th), a woman was hit by a garbage truck while crossing the road outside of Kai Tin Market on Kai Tin Road in Lam Tin.
She suffered a fracture on the spot. When a passer-by saw the incident, the garbage truck stopped, and enthusiastic citizens stepped forward to check the woman’s condition. Responding to the report, the paramedics immediately took care of the woman’s injuries and sent her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. The police blocked the scene to investigate the cause of the accident, leaving a pool of blood underground.
